While Saltair had strong recognition in the residential modular space, broader market perception remained narrow. More established tier 2 contractors were often viewed as the safer, more experienced choice, particularly across larger and more complex projects.
Our response was to reframe Saltair’s core strength, its expertise in Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) as a defining competitive advantage. Rather than positioning modular as a niche or alternative approach, we elevated it as a smarter, more advanced way to build.
The strategy centred on shifting perception through clarity and education. Defining how Saltair’s MMC approach delivers greater speed, scalability, and predictability. By bringing these benefits to the forefront, we repositioned Saltair not just as a residential modular builder, but as a technically advanced, future-focused contractor capable of competing with traditional tier 2 players.
